Keith Ellison’s Ex-Girlfriend Tweet a Doctor’s Record of Abuse

In a heated accusation vehemently denied by US Representative Keith Ellison who is running for Minnesota Attorney General, his long-time girlfriend turned ex allegedly Tweet Doctor’s records from 2017 stating the patient, Karen Monahan, had anemia. Anemia is a condition that results from a lack of proper nourishment at times set on by stress.

The report points to Ellison and claims the Representative abused the patient, the document continues:

“She states that she was in a very stressful environment for years, emotional and physical abuse by a partner with whom she is now separated,” the notes read, in part. “She did not have any physical injuries that required a physical examination in the past. She identifies the individual as congressmen (sic) Ellison, and she is worried about retribution if she identifies him publicly.”

The report seems to support her previous statement of abuse alleging that in a prior incident in which she says – leveling the claim days before the August primary – he had repeatedly yelled while dragging her off a bed which Ellison denies.

There has been no way to verify the validity of this document, doing so would be a violation of Patient-Doctor privilege however when asked about it Karen Manohan gave no comment.

Karen’s son Keith reported a video he had seen where Mr. Ellison pulled his mother across a bedroom and hurled profanities at her. Her son then posted on Facebook addressing the footage, while Karen Manohan refuses to release the video itself she discussed the event with CBS. She believes she shouldn’t have to release the video itself in order to be believed.

Another piece of information AliveMedia.com dug up was a tweet with an image of reports from 2005 thought to be about Keith Ellison. While his girlfriend at the time is thought to have lived at the location this report is not verified:

We were also able to dig up some communications from another ex-girlfriend on Facebook who claims the dates of her affair with Keith Ellison line up with those of Ms. Monahan.

When asked if Karen Monahan believes whether or not accusers should need to bring forward evidence he responded, “That’s a tougher question. … I’m not the one who claimed to have evidence. I think the person who said they had something, it’s on them to produce it. But at the same time, look, this happens within a context of a society where millions of women have been mistreated, abused, hurt. And they haven’t been believed, and that’s real.”

Keith Ellison’s remarks on the issue showed solidarity but he remains to deny the accusations, “Their trust in me was well-placed, and not only did I not do this, I will continue to be an advocate for safe homes for all people, especially women. I will continue to be a fierce opponent of domestic violence. … I believe that every person who’s a victim should be listened to. I don’t believe that everybody who says something should be believed just because they said it, but I do believe people should be listened to.”
